Small Business Saturday

Small Says It All
On Small Business Saturday, November 24, 2018, America promotes the annual holiday shopping tradition that engages communities everywhere to support their favorite small businesses. Because when small businesses thrive, the entire economy thrives.

You're shopping small every time you pick up a Latte Grande at your favorite local coffee shop, buy a new sweater at a cool boutique, grab something delectable at the corner confectionery or visit a locally-owned framing shop. All these small businesses help make West Des Moines unique.
In 2018, Small Business Saturday has soared beyond a cause, to a day when our nation celebrates community.
This year in West Des Moines, we invite you to participate in the Small Business Saturday Passport Program. Participating Small Businesses will have passports that you can pick up throughout your shopping on November 24th. As you stop into each of these businesses, be sure to get your passport stamped! Once your passport is fully stamped, you can turn it in to any of the businesses. We will pick up all passports from stores the following week, and we will be doing a drawing for a FANTASTIC grand prize--full of gift cards and goodies from your favorite small businesses. As November 24th approaches, be sure to check out back this growing list of participating businesses to stop into:
